Martin Systems is seeking an experienced professional for complex, integrated system projects. This individual will be responsible for designing, installing and servicing access control, burglary, surveillance, fire detection, building automation and more. Direct experience is required.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Service access control, video surveillance, security alarm and other security related low voltage systems
Plans installation by surveying and evaluating locations, identifying requirements, laying-out equipment and wiring plan all while adhering to codes, regulations and standards.
Well organized, self-starter, capable of functioning with (Minimal or NO) supervision
Troubleshooting systems that are not functioning properly
3 – 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb a ladder, and work with power tools.
Experience with various CCTV camera product lines: Axis, Dahua, Panasonic, Sony, HIK, Pelco, Bosch, Honeywell, Genetec, Milestone, OnSSI, Exacq, Avigilon.
Must be able to pass a security back ground check.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical upon hiring.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a great driving record.

Explains how to arm/disarm the keypad, the difference between Home/Sleep/Away arming, and other important security functions for the Martin Systems DMP 7800 and 9800 Series Graphic Touchscreen Keypads.
Primary duties include: assisting with specialty security systems installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial, industrial, and residential settings. It is expected you should be customer orientated, confident in asking questions for discovery, able to work independently and effectively take directions, and responsible for task completion. In addition, continue to enhance the corporate culture of Martin Systems, and promote the team atmosphere we are striving for.
Experience within electronic security or related field.
Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic aptitude.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Thorough background check is required.
Install, service and inspect burglar alarm, fire alarm, access control, digital video surveillance and related systems.
Ability to use use mobile apps in the field and work with a remote team to get systems up and running.
Ability to walk clients thru step-by-step, hands-on use of security technologies.
That you can only use one camera manufacture with your current DVR or NVR
That you can only use one card access system manufacture for integration into your video surveillance system or not have the ability at all
That you have to buy a block of 16 channels if you want to add one camera
That integration with standards-based computer and Ethernet-based information systems, audio, or security systems are not easy and would cost a considerable amount of money to create a custom interface
That you can only use one integrator due to it being a closed system
